My mom and I went to Siam Paragon Shopping complex and came across this unique Thai Craft Show sponsored by the royal family. In the top left there is a purse made out of silk fabric and rhinestones, the leaves on the flowers are made of the shell of small beetles. The blue and yellow decorations is made out of ribbon. You need to click the pictures to see the details. The last picture in the lower right corner is painted miniature clay houses. They also made the dancing figures below.
This girl is a Thai Classical Musician. She is playing and instrument called "Kim" which is an instrument similar to a western Dulcimer. I use to play this instrument as a child. It sounds like a mix of a harp and a guitar.
At Emporium Shopping Complex, we saw a Global Tropical Flower Show. It was a project to save the environment. Besides the unique tropical flowers there were birds, butterflies, turtles, and some unique animals.
