We celebrated our 5 year Anniversary in Chicago this past June. It was 5 years ago that we got married in Chicago at the Chicago Cultural Center on Michigan Avenue. We took Audrey to the Chicago Cultural Center and showed her the GAR Rotunda where we had the ceremony and the Preston Bradley Hall where we had our wedding reception. We also showed her Millenium Park where we took our wedding pictures.
With the help of my family, Aaron and I were able to go out for dinner at Sixteen Restaurant in the Trump International Hotel and Tower located at the Chicago River. We started our evening with a nice stroll down Michigan Avenue to see all the changes that have happen since our wedding day and to do a little shopping. The Trump Tower was not there when we got married so it was something new for us to experience. Sixteen was a really beautiful restaurant. The ambience was great and the food was definitely a unique experience. We had tasty fois gras, mousses, lobster, modern desserts and great wine. It was a delightful way to celebrate our mile stone.
