We went to Hong Kong this past month with Aaron. Aaron had a business trip and Audrey and Lara joined him. It was beautiful weather, much like Spring in the U.S. Not hot and not too cold. We really miss that weather and Audrey does not get to wear a jacket that often so it was a unique experience. Above is a Chinese Temple we visited near Repulse Bay and the second picture is Audrey sporting her little coat that her daddy got her.
Aaron worked most of the time but we had an opportunity to have dinner with his USC business school friend, Jason McFarland and his family. They have been living in Hong Kong for about 10 years now. It was a great dinner with great conversation. Jason also has a 3 year-old daugther and a 7-month old daughter so Audrey felt right at home with their toys.
Of course we had to visit our friends Alan Tam and Anne Tong. The last time we were here, we went to their wedding. Now they have a 14 month-old daughter. Audrey was showing her the ropes with walking and climbing. We had a lovely Cantonese dinner at their home. Thanks Alan and Anne.
It was not as big as the U.S. locations but perfect for a small child. We really loved the fountains and colorful buildings. We went to the Its a Small World ride and Audrey can not stop singing the song. I think it was her favorite. We rode Dumbo the Elephant ride. While we were waiting for the ride, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse got on the ride as well. We then rode the Mad Hatter Tea Cups and Audrey had a great time. She wanted to go again.

Our last day was spent with our friend Maureen Mai. Maureen and her family used to live in Singapore and just moved to Hong Kong this past Christmas. Great seeing Maureen, she has a beautiful house and she was a very gracious host. Below you will see that Audrey also liked Maureen's dog house. No, I did not put her in there. We found her there all by herself.
