Trip to Chiang Mai and Bangkok Thailand

We continued our trip in Thailand from Phuket to Bangkok. Aaron had to go back to Singapore due to his very hectic work schedule. Lara and the girls spent a week in Bangkok visiting family and taking a day trip to Bang Saen beach.  They also celebrated the Loi Kratong Festival with the flower float wishing good fortune.  Then they took a trip to Chiang Mai to visit Lara's grandmother and aunt on her father's side. This was Audrey's first time to Chiang Mai and Alexandra's first time to see Lara's grandmother. They had a great time visiting the Chiang Mai Zoo and seeing the famous panda from China, Lin Ping. They also rode on elephants even Alexandra got to ride the elephant, although it rocked her to sleep. The trip was also an opportunity to attend a wedding of some friends from Chicago. The bride was from Chiang Mai and the groom was a close cousin who was from Chicago and a grew up with Lara. Audrey was the hit of the wedding. She enjoyed mingling with guests, dancing again on stage, and she even caught the bouquet. It was a great experience overall. Audrey is already planning her own wedding.
