We went to Texas to visit Aaron's sister, Darla and her family along with Aaron's mother in San Antonio. It was nice to get away from the bitter cold weather of Chicago. Darla made us a wonderful dinner and we were lucky to also see her son Dylan who was visiting for the holidays. We were in Texas only there for a few days but we managed to also visit our friends Donna and Bob Withrow and Trevor and Jennifer Montgomery in Austin. Donna and Bob are friends from Singapore and Trevor is a childhood friend of Aaron's. Just by coincidence, both couples lived within 10 minutes of each other so we all went out to dinner. Bob and Donna had us stay at their home which was very beautiful and we really appreciated it.
